Brand Success Strategy Tips For Entrepreneurs Twelve and Twenty Eight

Being an entrepreneur is no easy feat. The grind never stops and you have to be at the top of your game at all times so as to not get lost in that crowd of competitors. The place to start with is — your brand’s visual identity. So today I am sharing a few easy DIY tips to make your brand visually consistent and look good because looks do sell! The better your brand looks, the better are your chances to make the client/user/customer stay and become a potential lead! So let’s dive right in.

1. Keep typography in check

Use the same fonts across your online presence, digital marketing, print collateral, and the likes. Keeping your typography consistent makes your brand look good and extremely professional. Moreover, you do not have to waste precious time thinking about which font to choose! Just keep it simple.

2. Choose the right color palette

Color choice can be intimidating but it is important to choose colors that go well with your brand’s voice. For example: for a financial sector business, shades of blue work well as blue depicts reliability. On the other hand, a feminine brand can have softer pastel colors, something that women connect more with. Choosing the right colors makes a whole world of difference to how your brand comes across and connects with the audience. One great place to get your color inspiration is Colour Lovers

3. Use high-resolution images

Even though we are talking about styling your brand on your own, you definitely do not need to be a professional photographer to come up with good-quality images for your brand. Here are a couple of my favorite places — Pexels and Unsplash to find countless free high-resolution images that you can choose from and find the perfect ones that speak your brand’s visual language. Make sure to use these quality images on your website/social media to make your brand look “pro” :) and do not forget to give credit to the owners of the images. They deserve it!

4. Get the sizes right

With the ever-changing sizes for social media uploads, it’s hard to keep up. You do not want to upload visual content on social media platforms only to realize they are getting cut off being the wrong size, making your uploads look unprofessional. To avoid such scenarios and also to create share-worthy content, try this awesome free online tool called Canva for all your social media creatives. Just choose the templates you like from the collection, customize with your content and share away without any hassle!

All this thought can be overwhelming but it is worth trying! Pick one thing at a time, try different things or a combination of things to see what works for you, and keep observing + improvising. With time, you WILL get better at presenting your creative brand in a consistent way that attracts your tribe. Good luck!
